  1. I sold “Tree of Heaven” for $2500. 🙂

Did you get any rain? How are you feeling these days? And what exactly was that surgery about, anyways?

  2. You are so appreciative of my work! Thank you! I hope someday you can see some in person–the originals are so much more luminous in person. I think you would dig it. 🙂

  3. I looked on your website to see the painting in question. Someone has excellent taste. 🙂

We still haven’t had more than 10 drops of rain, and the trees are looking very droopy and starting to brown. I guess we’re going to have a repeat of last year’s drought.

I could be feeling better. That would, however, require that I not do stupid things like mopping the floor or scrubbing out the bathtub.

The surgery was a repair of extensive spinal decay and damage which stemmed from both my prior profession and 3 car accidents. I had 3 dessicated and herniated discs removed, a lot of excess bony growth ground away, and had vertebrae C3, C4, C5, and C6 put back into place and held there with the aid of bone plugs and titanium plates and screws. My spine was about 50% crushed at C5-C6 and there was no room for spinal fluid, so there was a real danger of permanent damage happening to my spinal cord from the slightest injury (like falling and banging my head, or even banging my head while getting into a car). Additionally, after 13 years of constant pain, I’d simply had enough. It was time to take care of the problem.
